jUNIOR CHOIR MEMBERS ARE THE BEST!

A big thank you to all Junior Choir members! 


You have all worked so hard this year, and it has come through in your development as mature and independent musicians. We have spent quite a bit of time talking about how choir is similar to team sports. As your outdoor team sports start up this summer, continue thinking about these similarities:

• Your team depends on you working your hardest, so do your fellow choir members. 
• Each person on the team is important and has something to contribute, this is true in choir, too. 
• No team can depend on just a few talented members. The best teams around are ones where everyone pulls their own load, and no one is sitting in the field picking the dandelions! Plus, what happens to a team when their star player gets sick, or has an injury?
• In order to become really accomplished as a team, you not only have to do the drills, you also have to play the games. How much fun would your team be if you only did drills each time? Those games are just like our performances, where each one of you are crucial to the success of the performance! 
  
  
  

Finally, each one of you makes the team unique. There is no other team like yours, because each team is made up of only those individuals. Our choir has its own special sound because of EACH ONE of you. If you weren't a part of our choir, then it would sound different. So thank you SO MUCH for your contributions this year! I wish you all a blessed summer.
