As the religious formation of children is primarily the responsibility of parents, we designed a Family Catechism Program that keeps all the students in grades 3-6 on a single track, offering the family the opportunity to teach and/or learn the Catholic faith together.
Each lesson is based around sections of the Baltimore Catechism and supplemented by videos from Our Lady of the Rosary Family Catechism. The lessons are spread across two years, alternating year A and year B as seen below. This enables children to go through the whole program twice, being introduced to it in 3/4 and then returning back to the beginning and digging deeper to enrich their understanding in grades 5/6.
2023/24 is Year A, and 2024/25 will be a Year B, with 2025/26 returning to year A.
In addition, our Virtues Program guides both students and tutors to cultivate different virtues each month. This initiative aids our community's development in both our human and spiritual lives.
