UNIFORM PAGE

As members of a choir and performance schola, students are expected to be well-groomed and presentable. Please ensure that students are wearing the appropriate uniform for each activity. 

The SJCS Uniform is an outward expression of order and beauty at the schola. It strengthens the sense of belonging in our community and builds schola spirit!

​It is important for the student, the parents, the tutors, and the administration to uphold our uniform policy.  It is the parent's responsibility to inspect the uniform before the student leaves for classes. It is the tutors' responsibility to monitor and ensure the Uniform Policy is adhered to during class and at schola-related activities.​

Uniform pieces must be properly labeled with students name. ​

How to Sew on the SJCS Crests

You will need to sew the crest onto the vest/cardigan. Here are measurements to guide you. Use common sense as it's not an exact science. The crests must be positioned on the left (over the heart) and the centre of the crest should be measured from the top seam (at the shoulder level) as well as from centre-body (from the breastbone or sternum)

Larger sizes (senior students - possibly grades 5/6 as well)
ladies: 19cm from shoulder seam; 12-13cm from centre
men: 17.5-18cm from shoulder seam; 9-10cm from centre

Adapt the smaller sizes
girls/boys: 17-18cm from shoulder; 8-10 from centre
